Shipping & Delivery Policy

At STL Transit Group, we provide local and regional transportation solutions including ride bookings, parcel delivery, and product freight services. This Shipping Policy outlines how we handle deliveries for parcels and products.
1. Service Area
We currently offer delivery and transportation services within:
- St. Louis City & County
- Surrounding Missouri and Illinois regions
For locations outside this area, please contact us directly for availability and custom quotes.
2. Delivery Types
We offer three core services:
- Ride Services: For individuals and groups with scheduled pickup and drop-off
- Parcel Delivery: For documents and small-to-medium packages
- Product Freight Delivery: For large or bulk items including pallets or commercial loads
Each service may follow different timing and vehicle logistics.
3. Scheduling & Cut-Off Times
- Same-Day Deliveries: Must be scheduled by 12:00 PM (CST)
- Next-Day or Future Deliveries: Can be booked anytime, subject to availability
- Ride Bookings: Should be scheduled at least 1 hour in advance
Urgent or express delivery requests may be accommodated for an additional fee.
4. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery windows:
- Standard Parcel Delivery: Within 2–6 hours (local)
- Product Delivery: Same day or next day depending on load and destination
- Rideshare Services: As per the selected pickup time
Exact timing may vary based on traffic, weather, or unforeseen conditions.
5. Delivery Fees
Fees are based on:
- Distance (calculated via GPS/Google Maps)
- Weight or size of the item(s)
- Urgency or time of day
- Any additional handling or waiting time
You will receive a quote before confirming your booking. Base fare and tiered pricing may apply.
6. Handling & Packaging
- All parcels must be properly sealed, labeled, and ready for pickup
- Product deliveries should be palletized or safely packed for transport
- Fragile or high-value items should be disclosed at the time of booking
STL Transit Group is not liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging.
7. Missed Deliveries
If a recipient is unavailable:
- We will attempt to contact the sender and recipient
- A redelivery fee may apply
- The parcel may be returned to the sender if delivery cannot be completed
8. Delivery Confirmation
- Customers will receive delivery confirmation via email or SMS
- For business clients, signed proof of delivery (POD) is available upon request
9. Limitations
We do not deliver:
- Hazardous materials
- Illegal substances
- Live animals
- Items prohibited by law
We reserve the right to refuse delivery based on item contents or safety concerns.
